Install Lexmark E210 on Windows 7 64bit Posted August 11, 2011 in Uncategorized by medialam. I had a old Lexmark E210 printer lying around that I wanted to get working in Windows 7 64bit.

Hi, I was reading about how someone said to check lexmark's website??? That they are possibly working on drivers for Windows 7??? I just HATE to get rid of this printer.it is the best and least costly printer to operate I have ever owned. My others cost me in excess of $100.00 for ink.and that is about every month at least.my lexmark prints better and only costs me $80.00 -$90.00 and I only buy one.maybee at most 2 toner cartridges a year!!!! Please would someone let me know if they do come out with new drivers for it??? I found a place online that sells a driver to upgrade it..but they want in excess of $1,000.00 for it!!!!!

Please would someone let me know if they do come out with new drivers for it??? I can't tell you anything about drivers for it. But let me say this: you are comparing the cost of running it (a laser printer) with an ink-jet. Yes, the laser-printer will be considerably less expensive to run, but that's because it's a laser printer, not because it's a Lexmark. And almost all laser printers print better than almost any ink-jet. If you can't get a driver for it, you might want to look into the possibility of buying another laser printer, one that does have a Windows 7 driver.

Hi Thankyou for your advice, I really am novice at this kind of thing. I have never used the printer before and never had the original printer disk.

I have found and downloaded the zipped file to my desktop. I'm not sure what I have to do next, when I try to print with both appliances turned on I can't see the Lexmark E210 listed. I'm connecting via USB so understand it should recognise it. Any advice you can offer will be very much appreciated, I would love to get this up and running if it's at all possible Thankyou.
