Bth Ms_bthpan Driver Windows 7 Dell. Product Name and Number: compaq nc8000 2. Operating System installed: Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 2 I noticed that a number of things are not working after I installed Windows XP Home Edition such as: the audio does not work at all, and when I plugged in an ethernet cord in the back to get internet from my modem (before I installed my Linksys card), nothing happened. I surfed this forum and found that some people were given links for the device drivers that they needed to install. This is a screenshot of the device drivers that are missing on my computer as found in Device Manager: If someone could give me the links to those drivers, that would be great. On that page, I downloaded everything that was under the 'driver' categories. All but one was able to install.
Then after I restarted my computer the last time, my icon for the internet wouldn't show up, and my internet stopped working (at that time, I hadn't figured out how to make my Linksys software work to connect me to the internet. I just recently got that working, and that's how I'm here now). I did a System Restore and deleted everything that I downloaded so that I can start over. I noticed that some of those drivers actually did help me, for examle, I got my audio all installed and working, and the ethernet icon appeared (I might need that in case my wireless internet stops working). Would you happen to know which ones I should download instead of just downloading them all? There are so many items in that list. Okay, I installed all of those except for the second one (), which said that my system did not meet the minimum requirments for installing the software. I also downloaded and installed the audio ones too. The one thing that is still left with a yellow exclamation point in my Device Manager is Base System Device. I'm not sure why I need that because my computer seems to be in good working order now. My question is: should I refer to this topic and download what was given here?
